1. CONTRACT MANAGER
Minimum Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or any related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in senior-level contract management, commercial administration, and claims management, preferably in road maintenance highway, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract such as JKR/PWD, FIDIC, and other government contract requirements.
• Proven experience in managing variation orders, extension of time (EOT), claims, dispute resolution and final account negotiations.
• Registration with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) and/or membership with the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all contractual and commercial matters related to road maintenance and rehabilitation projects.
• Review, draft, and administer contracts, including variation orders, EOT applications, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with contract terms, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead negotiations and finalize settlements for claims, variations, and final accounts with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams and prepare commercial reports and recommendations for management decision-making.
2. QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Minimum Requirement:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost control, and contract administration.
• Preferably with working experience in road maintenance, highway rehabilitation, pavement works, or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, measurement, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ). Familiar with contract administration, including variation orders, claims, and final account preparation.
• Knowledge of standard forms of contract such as JKR/PWD and FIDIC is an added advantage.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Registration with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM) and/or membership with the RoyalInstitution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for road maintenance and rehabilitation works.
• Administer contracts, including variation orders, claims, extension of time submissions, and final account preparation.
• Conduct site measurements, verify quantities of work completed, and prepare interim valuations and progress claims.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate subcontractors and supplier quotations, and support procurement activities.
• Monitor project expenditures, prepare commercial reports, and liaise with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
